Moving to a new place with thousands of new faces can be hard on the senses, but through the help of our local church body we have come to know some great people and are making some lasting friendships. Every Monday night from 6:30-9:00 we make a two-block trek to our weekly Community Group. Our CG has been great for us in every way. We love it. Soccer teams, neighborhood associations, book clubs…our church, Sojourn Community Church, recognizes that like-minded people tend to gather together and have created safe places for adults and children to journey in the hope of Christ together and be transformed by the Gospel through discussion, Bible study and fellowship. This is essentially what a Community Group is…and this is essentially what we needed.
